The Museum of Local Lore in Zaporizhzhia is the oldest and one of the central city museums. It should be noted that initially the museum on Khortitsa was also
branch of the local lore. The museum building is located in the historical part of the city (in the center of old Aleksandrovsk).
This museum is considered one of the largest in Ukraine, there are more than 100 thousand historical exhibits in the collections. Archaeological collection - the largest

The park "Oak Grove" was named after a lot of oaks, which in the XVIII century occupied vast territories stretching to the Great Meadow.
The remarkable nature of the park is the river channel, through which bridges are tossed in several places. Along the paths there are benches, there are several public (free) toilets,
children's playgrounds, amusement park, fountain, several venues for concerts, tennis courts, ruins of old buildings.
Sometimes in the park there are cultural and mass events, beer festivals.
Summer sites begin to work with warming. Also here there is something like an outpost of a horse base - kids are riding horses. |

Voznesenovskiy Park is considered one of the most romantic places in Zaporizhzhia. Open landscaped territory of 4.5 hectares with elements of modern
landscape design is located next to the cascade of fountains "Rainbow" on the embankment of the Dnieper. The name of the park was in honor of the village of Voznesenka, which in ancient times was on
this place. In the park an artificial pond with fountains is created, through which the "Bridge of Lovers" (the bridge to "Mother-in-law and the Mother-in-law") is thrown, which is very popular as a venue
wedding photo sessions. In addition, in the "Voznesenovsky Park" there is an alley of newlyweds with a sculpture of two hearts. Here by tradition they come after registration of marriage.
Another attraction of the Ascension Park is a historical monument to Prince Svyatoslav Igorevich. |
